Trout creek valley
A thin place
The other day
His love breaking through
The atmospheric veil
Raining down
As presence and substance
And light and air
Enfolding, infusing, immersing,
Embracing
His favourite
The one He loves
Uniquely created
Uniquely loved
One of a kind
My “yes but’s…”
My “i am’s….”
(…not enough…,dirty…,guilty...,)
What have you
Threatening
To take up space between
Are but a muffled sound
In the fabric of love’s embrace
Quieting, diminishing,
Made minuscule and
Overpowered by
The pure white heat
The consuming fire
Of radiant light
By his “I am….”
(Love)
